1. Does the work have to be recently created? Can task designs that have been used in the past be entered?
All entries do not need to be recently created, but they must be original works that do not infringe the rights of others (including copyrights) and have never been published publicly.

2. Application and submission close on 15 Jul and 15 Oct respectively. How can teachers make preparation?
Teachers can use the post-exam activities, from end of June to mid-July, to conduct task designs with students for testing the effectiveness of the designs. Then, evaluate and make improvements during the summer vacation. When the new academic year starts, teachers conduct their refined task designs with students. Teachers can take videos or photos during the process as supporting evidence to show the effectiveness of their refined task designs.

3. Teachers are very busy when school starts in September and October. How will they carry out task design activities with students?
It is understood that teachers need to handle a lot of administrative work when school starts, but they have to perform teaching duties at the same time. Designing effective learning tasks for students will not take up a lot of extra time for teachers.

4. Is Task Design limited to the classroom, or can it be carried out outside the classroom?
There are no restrictions, but teachers are reminded to adopt appropriate safety measures to ensure the safety of students when conducting outdoor activities.

5. Are there any time/length limits for conducting Task Designs?
There are no limitations. They can be carried out in one lesson, about 35 minutes.

6. Can teachers enter the competition by collaboration with other teachers?
Yes, and it is recommended that one representative be selected among the team to serve as the team leader to facilitate the team’s decision-making, ensure alignment and commitment.

7. Does the task design need to be tested by students?
It is strongly recommended that teachers conduct their task designs with students to know the effectiveness of their designs.
